The Pure Water ULTIMA 5555 is the second product in the ULTIMA program. This product is a fully self-contained distiller with the capacity to produce 189 litres (50 US gallons) of distilled water per 24 hour period. The distilled water is stored in a 50 gallon storage tank and is dispensed from the storage tank through a built-in pump, which can be connected to up to ten dispensers located at various places in an office complex, factory, or clinic. The unit is programmed to stop distilling at certain times for the boiling chamber to be drained automatically. This feature greatly reduces the maintenance costs. The Pure Water ULTIMA 5555 is covered by patents and is controlled with solid-state controls. It has a special feature that allow it to shut down automatically if the water produced does not meet the required standard of purity.

The Pure Water ULTIMA 5555 is constructed of 304-grade stainless steel throughout. For applications with high chloride levels in the feed water, a 316-grade stainless steel version is available.

A medical version is also available for non-drinking water applications. This version meets the A.S.T.M. standard for distilled water for laboratory applications.
